"Which one contributed to conquering opportunistic diseases?"
Does your immunity protect your body, or do vaccines give you immunity?
The conquest of infectious diseases was not achieved by vaccines or antibiotics, but by plumbers and sanitation workers.
The four major contributors to eradicating infectious diseases are:
Clean water supply
Sewage treatment
Sufficient food supply
Garbage collection and disposal
Those who are unaware of or deny this need education.
If you look at a graph showing the decline in infectious diseases over time alongside the introduction of vaccines, the two red circles on the right mark the release dates of the measles vaccine and the pertussis (whooping cough) vaccine. Both vaccines were introduced after the diseases had already naturally declined.
Infectious diseases typically follow a natural cycle, and most of them naturally fade away. The health of individuals and their environment merely influences how long or short that cycle is. The only exceptions are viruses like the common cold or flu, which mutate annually. Mutation is entirely natural, yet I recall how people were frightened by the term "variant" during the COVID era.
Here’s a graph showing the decline in infectious diseases over time and the timing of vaccine introductions. The two red circles on the right indicate the release of the measles and pertussis vaccines, both of which were launched after the diseases had naturally subsided.
Avoiding or hiding from viruses and bacteria will not lead to true health.
Frequent exposure, acceptance, and maintaining a healthy lifestyle are the only ways to sustain immunity and health.
By ensuring proper nutrition, exercising, getting sunlight, sleeping well, managing stress wisely, and fostering healthy activities and relationships, we can build true immunity.
Social distancing, stay-at-home orders, self-quarantine... The policies enforced during the COVID period demanded exactly the opposite.
Was it foolishness or malice? Some were malicious, but most were simply foolish.
